Latest update from Cornel & Rodica
Dear friends,
We want to share with you some of the things we have been up to these last few months.
It seems like with each year passing by you start to feel some changes in your body. We both had a eye bacteria and we had to do some treatments in order to fix that. Also, Cornel's hearing has been affected and now he is doing a treatment to prevent hearing loss or any other complications. Excepting this, we are thankful to God that we are able to stand on our feet and we don't have anything to complain of.
Our children are fine as well, but very busy with all sorts of exams; Andreea is preparing for her baccalaureate, Teo, Anne and Alina are going to have their last exam session and finally the graduation. Iulia, Mitica and Francis are doing well and so are Nora, Brent and Tobias. We miss Nora and her family and we are really looking forward to having them over this summer. On Sunday, 16th of May, Tobias turned 1 and he is such a lovely nephew. Both our grandchildren are making us two happy grandparents.
Concerning our house, we have made some progressions, but we choose to remain optimistic that a day will come when with God's help we will finish everything we have left to do.
On the other side, the church and our ministry are keeping us busy as well. Equally, as we continue to serve we feel more spiritually blessed and honoured by God. We continue with our monthly visits to each church, in order to spend time with our brothers and sisters and to encourage them. last month we have organised the first meeting with all elders and leaders of the churches we oversee. We had invited as special speakers, Ghita Ritisan and Traian and Elena Pascalau. We had an extraordinary time, being encouraged by the speakers (to use what we have in our hands).
A great personal challenge, but of the church as well, is the financial situation, as anywhere else in the world at this time. We are telling you this not in order to complain about it but to ask you to pray for us, that this will not become a reason for us to stop serving and doing what God has called us to do. Please pray for our health as well and for our children to finish their studies and exams well.
We hope that you are well and we are looking forward to hearing news from you as well.
